Our services
What we provide
We identify a suitable expert based on the referrer’s requirements. We will provide curriculum vitae, availability and cost estimates on request. Where an expert is suitable for the referrer, an appointment will be booked at the convenience of all parties and date provided for filing of the report. Updates will be provided to the referrer regarding the progress of the work.
Psychiatrists
We provide psychiatric expert witnesses to undertake expert work in proceedings before Criminal Courts (Crown and Magistrates), Family Courts, Mental Health Review Tribunals, Parole Board and other legal forums. Our psychiatrists deliver a high standard of written reports and are experienced in providing oral evidence in court. The doctors work in forensic and general adult mental health settings and have extensive experience in undertaking expert work.
Case coordinator
Each referral is dealt with by a case coordinator who has a background in mental health and experience in liaison with legal professionals. The case coordinator is responsible for liaising with the referrer. They are available to discuss any issues arising in the case to deliver an efficient service.
The case coordinator will make any bookings necessary e.g. with the prison services if required and ensure all parties are aware of the appointments.
We also run courses relevant to expert witness practice. For further information please contact us
